CHICAGO, Illinois - The Honorable Michael C. Fountain attended the Concerned Belizeans, Incorporated annual dinner on 25 April 2015. The event supports fundraising efforts of the local Belizean community to provide school supplies to the children of Belize and those in the Chicago area. This dinner also celebrated the recent election of His Excellency Nestor E. Mendez, Ambassador of Belize to the United States, to the position of Assistant Secretary General for the Organization of American States of which both Belize and the Commonwealth of The Bahamas are members. Consul Fountain took the opportunity to acknowledge and congratulate the Ambassador accordingly.
